Brief Description:
High school students or adult volunteers will mentor a child in a local
elementary school, after school, on a one-to-one basis. Involves
assisting a child in grade 3-8 with their homework, playing educational
games, and developing organizational skills. Adult volunteers may
become Homework Club Supervisors at the site, charged with supervising
the group of 16 students and 16 mentors. Involves providing direction
to the group and administrative duties to ensure smooth functioning of
the Homework Club.
